Evangelistic Narrations
CURRENT PRAYER REQUESTS
The biblical, chronological narration training is very different from what is generally taught for effective evangelistic outreach and presents many challenges for seasoned pastors and church leaders to embrace and learn. This methodology, however, has proven very effective wherever it has been used. Pray that the participants will catch the vision and potential of this highly successful approach.

OUR HEALTH
We ask for your prayers regarding our physical strength. Steve and Ron are seasoned in years and face challenges with neuropathy, which makes mobility quite a struggle. On May 4th, which is Ron’s 77th birthday, they will fly from Nashville to the Ivory Coast to lead the first stage of leadership training sessions. Please seek God’s strength for them, as Steve is even more senior than Ron, yet both remain dedicated to the mission ahead.
Please pray specifically for the three field coordinators: David in Kenya, Silas in Ivory Coast, and Jackson in Tanzania. It would be near impossible to tell you all that they do to organize all the details involved in coordinating an event like these training sessions. There will be well over two hundred church leaders that will have to be housed and feed, not to mention the printing of the books in three languages: English, French, and Swahili.
Without there faithful service to the Lord, these training sessions would not take place. We thank you dear brothers!

LOGISTICS
OUR TRAVEL
We leave Nashville on May 4, fly to Paris and arrive in Abidjan, Ivory Coast about 30 hours later. After a short night's sleep, we travel up country to Bondoukou where all the training takes place; that's another 7 hours. The training begins the next day! From there it's off to Kenya through Togo on the 18rh and 19th. We leave Kenya on the 29th for Tanzania where Ron stays until June 8 and arrives back in Nashville the next day. Steve stays another week before he returns Now that's a lot of wear and tear on the body!
Praise God for meeting the financial resources necessary to underwrite the first phase of Project 2:2 - Evangelistic Narrations. The original budget was $15,000. But now that we will reach five different countries with this training (Ivory Coast, Togo, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania), that raised the budget to $20,000. Thanks to the generosity of many of you, we are now able to begin planning for phase two, which will target Spanish speaking cultures south of the border.
