Training faithful believers worldwide to share biblical, chronological narrations to provide a solid foundation for accepting Christ as Savior and following Him in discipleship.
Project 2:2 is a non-profit Special IMpact Project of International Missions, INC (IM) located in Antioch, TN. It's twofold purpose is: (1) to execute an effective, expandable, and easily repeatable evangelistic program using 40 chronological, biblical narrations from Creation to the Second Coming of our Lord (which are found in the book titled, The Story of God and Man (written by Steve and Carol Lyons); and, (2) to train faithful believers to train others, who in turn will be able to train others in discipleship and evangelism. He Goes Before Us
Praise the Lord!
While meeting with Dr. Kenneth Eagleton about the logistics for our trip to Kenya, we began talking about the transportation in particular. Where we will stay is 45 minutes away from where we will be teaching. Dr. Eagleton mentioned that while he was out there the last time a man named Phillip, from Uganda, used his vehicle to take him back and forth. We no sooner mentioned that when Phillip called Dr. Eagleton. Coincidence? We don't think so. This is just one of many instances where the Lord has gone before us to prepare the way!
Thanks to your faithful support and prayers, the funds have come in to underwrite the first phase of Project 2:2 Evangelistic Narrations. Not only have the tickets for Ivory Coast, Kenya, and Tanzania been purchased, all passport, visa, and vacination documents have been received. We cannot thank you enough!

This is our first stop in Phase 1 of Project 2:2. We leave Nashville on May 4th and arrive in Abidjan on the 5th. We travel to Bondouklou the next day. Leadership training takes place that Thursday and Friday. The following week there will be as many as 50 participants in a four-day session. During that week, the leaders who were trained in the two-day session will present the narrations with Steve and I observing and evaluating. We will use the newly translated French material here. Several of the leaders will be trained to train about 20 leaders in Togo the next month.
We then go to Kenya, which is all the way across the continent to East Africa. We will follow the same procedure there as in Ivory Coast. Thursday and Friday, the 21st and 22nd, will concentrate on training leaders who will train as many as 60 participants in the second week, the four-day session. In the training will be in both English and Swahili with two simultaneous groups. Oh, it was while we were talking with Dr. Eagleton about transportation that Bro. Phillip called from Uganda and offered his car services if he could attend the training! Indeed, God is so good!
This is Steve's former field of service where he and his wife, Carol, served for the majority of their 37 years as missionaries. This is also where they developed and compiled the narrations (The Story of God and Man) we are using--in Swahili, then translated into English, then French. Spanish is next! Ron will be there for only one week as he trains a new missionary and up to six others (in English) to effectively use these narrations in evangelism. Steve will be there two weeks for two different sessions (in Swahili) and will train as many as 60 believers.

Silas worked alongside Ron in Ivory Coast as he developed the external leadership training program and the moped evangelistic outreach ministry in the Bondoukou region. He is now pastor of one of our fast growing churches in Abidjan.
When Project 2:2 was adopted by IM, Ron contacted his old friend and asked him if he would form a team and review the newly translated material to make sure it was africanized French and then to help with the organization and implementation of the Project in Ivory Coast. His coordination of all the details necessary to make this training possible have been invaluable. Thank you, our brother and ourdear friend!
Neither Steve nor Ron have met Bro. David, but they cannot wait to see him face to face. He is not only an amazing pastor in the Kitali region of Kenya, he serves the Lord with seemly endless energy and enthusiasm. Dr. Kenneth Eagleton has worked with him on several conferences and found him to be a very effective coordinator. We have found him to be that and more.
David is not only coordinating the two, simultaneous training sessions (English and Swahili), he is conducting his own pre-training sessions with the ones we will be training during the two-day sessions. Thank you, our dear brother! May your joy in the Lord become infectious!
In 2015, Jackson enrolled in a teacher’s training college in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where Steve and Carol Lyons were teaching teams to become bi-vocational church planters. He has became a very skilled chronological narrator of God’s redemptive plan as laid out in the Scriptures.
For the past nine years, Jackson has volunteered as a religion teacher in the public schools. As a result, he has been able to share the message of salvation with literally hundreds of Africans.
This June, Jackson will be leading a team with Steve to do two, four-day workshops of 30 people each in two different locations in Tanzania.
